Marketing Implications

Social media can be used as a marketing tool to establish brand identity, connect with potential new customers, share brand personality with consumers, and provide consumers with an interactive experience.

Facebook is a free social media platform designed for connecting with family, friends, strangers, brands, and more. The purpose of Facebook marketing is to bring brand awareness, generate leads, provide customer service, and drive traffic. The platform allows for creating and sharing content like videos and images, building influence, and growing your brand.

I use Facebook to keep in touch with my veteran friends and stay updated on certain brands and companies. I used to dislike seeing ads pop up so often in my social media feeds, but I do not mind them as much now. Every now and then, an advertisement pops up in my feed that will have thousands of comments. Curiosity gets the best of me, and I find myself lost in the positive feedback, questions, and funny comments about what is happening in the ad. Typically, underwear or razor ads tend to create some thought-provoking ads that get people talking.
A good example of this is MeUndies.

I have become brand loyal to MeUndies and have carried an active monthly subscription for matching underwear for my husband and myself since 2020.
